Natra Saint-Étienne scores 92 points out of 100 on year 2023 regarding gender equality index in France. This excellent result is the consequence of an equal pay policy that has been implemented for years and is an integral part of the company’s strategy, values and culture.

The gender equality index includes 4 indicators:

  • Pay gap.
  • Difference in the rate of individual increases.
  • Percentage of employees returning from maternity leave who received an increase on their return.
  • Number of employees of the under-represented sex among the ten employees with the highest pay.

Because we believe that diversity, particularly gender diversity, is a source of enrichment and value creation for the company, we have continued our efforts to value and promote the place and role of women in our fac results of the 2023 index are an acknowledgement of the equal pay policy implemented for many years at Natra Saint-Étienne and which is an integral part of our strategy, values and corporate culture“, says Jose Ignacio Gómez, HR Director of Natra Group.

In addition to the remuneration and promotion policy, numerous actions will be strengthened in favour of gender diversity, such as raising awareness of managers and teams to these issues, programmes to support women in leadership development, among others.

Proyecto financiado por la agencia valenciana de la innovación a través del programa de ayudas en materia de fortalecimiento y desarrollo del sistema valenciano de innovación para la mejora del modelo productivo (ejercicio 2020)

VALORIZACIÓN DE SUBPRODUCTOS Y SU APROVECHAMIENTO PARA EL DESARROLLO DE INNOVADORAS SOLUCIONES

NATRA CACAO S.L., está desarrollando este proyecto con número de expediente INNCAD/2020/34 que ha sido apoyado por la AGENCIA VALENCIANA DE LA INNOVACIÓN (AVI), en su programa de ayudas para proyectos de CONSOLIDACIÓN DE LA CADENA DE VALOR EMPRESARIAL en el marco de las ayudas en materia de fortalecimiento y desarrollo del sistema valenciano de innovación para la mejora del modelo productivo del ejercicio 2020.

El objetivo principal del presente proyecto de investigación es evaluar el potencial de transformación de la cascarilla del cacao en diferentes bioproductos de interés y sus aplicaciones tanto para nuestro sector como para otros sectores y en el reaprovechamiento de uno de los bioproductos de interés (extractos de polifenoles) para desarrollar innovadores chocolates funcionales o nutracéuticos ricos en polifenoles.

Este proyecto contribuirá a disminuir el efecto medioambiental de los procesos mediante el reaprovechamiento de subproductos o residuos para producir productos de valor añadido, incrementar la rentabilidad del proceso productivo y disminuir la huella de carbono mediante la obtención de bioproductos que puedan transformarse en bipolímeros compostables y obtener en un futuro bioplásticos para usar en nuestros productos y así tener una económica circular completa.

Natra presents its new lines of innovation, with healthy, sustainable and delicious products

Natra is shortly to launch new products satisfying consumers mood food trends. The new range not only delights consumers on taste, but meets their desires in well being, thanks to new ingredients, shapes and textures. Natra, a multinational Chocolatier, present in Consumer and Industrial segments, presented its new lines of innovation, to satisfy the shoppers of its customers in 2019.

Natra launched its innovation catalogue at ISM, the world’s leading trade fair for sweets and snacks, held in Cologne (Germany) on 27-30 January and attended by over 38,000 specialist visitors from 140 countries and the top 20 distribution channels.

The innovations presented by Natra for 2019 satisfy the latest consumer trends, like convenience on-the-go products (ready-to-eat and practical); healthier products, thanks to the re-design of some recipes by R&D specialists; sustainable certificated products. All these products fit with the world mood food trend, seeking to generate emotions and all-family members pleasure as well as well being with new tastes, shapes and textures.

New products

In response to growing consumer interest in healthier products with fewer calories, sugars and fats, Natra has created a range of low-sugar products, including tablets, snacks and spreads with up to 30% less sugar. This range is in advance vs most of world market demands and shows Natra’s commitment in a Consumer balanced diet.

For the Chocolate Experts lovers, Natra proposes now higher cocoa content to enhance its proven health benefits: intense (85%), extra intense (90%) and super intense (99%).

The Better for You range is completed with spreads with a higher nut content, which means more protein and fibre, from either a single ingredient or a variety of nuts.

Natra’s new lines of innovation are also geared towards sustainability, promoting the use of raw materials from sustainable origins, like for example its range of organic chocolate tablets and 100% organic spreads.

At the same time Natra develops its range of convenience products, with snacks, choc-and-nut cups and chocolate with wafers.

Finally, Natra is proposing a range of new Chocolate Gifts, to attract, surprise and satisfy consumers.

This new collection of chocolates, offers a totally innovative design combining tasty products and box. This category features gin-filled pralines and decorated Swiss chocolate medallions presented in a luxury gift box, reinforcing Natra in its positioning in premium products.

Natra will present its new convenience and premium products at ISM

Natra’s new launchings respond to the latest consumer trends, with healthier products containing less sugar and no palm oil.

At ISM this year, Natra, a multinational producer of chocolate and cocoa products, will present, among others, the new convenience and premium products that it plans to launch on the market in 2018. ISM, the world’s leading trade fair for sweets and snacks, will be held in Cologne (Germany) on 28-31 January with over 1,600 exhibitors from 60 countries.

Natra will have a stand of over 170 m2 at ISM, which will be a meeting point for its contacts and customers. This year, Natra will present its new lines of innovation, along with the products and formats that the company plans to put on the market during 2018.

Natra features its innovative portfolio in the latest edition of Anuga trade fair

Natra, the multinational producer of chocolate and cocoa goods has participated in the 34th edition of Anuga, the largest business platform in the food industry. During its five days, the company has presented in Cologne a new portfolio in which innovation has played a key role, highlighting the Group’s commitment towards organic, premium and convenience products.

  • Natra introduces its bet on organic, premium and convenience products in line with its commitment to customer thru innovation
  • The pearl spheres and a range of three flavors of cream organic spreads were very well received by the Visitors of the Natra booth.
  • The stand doubled the number of visitors compared to the previous edition, demonstrating, if needed, that Natra is perceived as one of the leading and preferred companies in the cocoa sector.

Natra’s bet on its avant-garde stand attracted more than twice as many visits as the previous edition, consolidating its position as one of the leading companies in the cocoa sector. In fact, its portfolio has generated a great expectation among the 165,000 visitors to the trade show. Special interest has been shown by companies and business from Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Organic, convenience and premium products

Aware that consumers are demanding products in line with sustainability values, the company has featured some of its novelties for this year, as is its line of cream organic spreads with three flavors: hazelnut, milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

Likewise, Natra works for the sake of innovation to offer a finished product ready to be consumed with comfortable and portable packaging, for On-the-Go occasions. Example of this, are their traditional bars in a new packaging: boxes of 10 units wrapped individually. A product easy to transport and ideal for sharing that has aroused the interest of the many visitors to Anuga.

Another of the products that have attracted the attention among the visitors is related to Belgian specialties, which are distinguished by their Premium category. In particular, the spheres with pearlescent finish. A product presented in a triangular box with 15 pieces of truffles assorted with this velvety finish.
